Build

Cold-forged 4140 steel, hand-finished jaws, a pocket profile that disappears under a shirt. Three months of sand, sweat and grease in, the action is still tight.

What it replaced

• A bulky multitool that lived in my truck.
• A folding knife I carried out of habit.
• The cheap pliers in my desk drawer.

Verdict

Earned its slot. Two months in, I bought the Wrench Module too.
